right...those are the only languages i kinda know (English, Urdu, French and Arabic)...and oh yeah...thts certainly not a big deal 'cuz i havent really "known" any of them so well...especially the last two :$...
its strange though...lived here, in Saudi Arabia since I was two months old...and yet I dont understand Arabic at all (except some of the greetings that sound like urdu and the "abusive language" one of my classmates taught me..hehe)...
u see...thts why i name dis place "the terra firma of extremes"...its only irony one can xpect here...i'm not sure if tht even made any sense..but oh well, i guess maybe it was a lill' too abstract ;) (or just nothing but nonsense :S)...hehe
*shivers* danG! its gettin cold here...no one can ever xpect a sun-baked desert like this to become as bitter and chilly as it has these days...well maybe not for the people from or close to the poles (like my brother)...but at least for me it has :$...well..with this, i guess its over from me now...hope i didnt sound so lame...

your situation is pretty much like me. I ve been in saudia since I was 6 months old and the language problem is similar to yours. Now presently where I am living, people expect me to know Arabic fluently after hearing that ive lived there my whole life and after than I feel so ashamed.
